Theta
class at last

Sigma now has 12 members in this years
Theta class bumping our fraternity up to a solid 60.
Our organization originally had 16 bids. Out of
those 16 bids, 12 crossed which was the most any pledge
class has ever had in the history of Sigma. We are
proud to welcome every member of the Theta class into
our family. Since the last remaining members of
the Epsilon class will be graduating and moving on after
this semester, the Theta class will be the future of
Sigma.

Sixth Annual Sigma Christmas
Party Held
01/01/10
The Sigma men celebrated Christmas and
Hanukkah (and the birthday of Gobind Singh) together for
the sixth time at the Patchogue post of the American
Legion. Although the Blizzard of '09 postponed the party
by a week, over 70 brothers and friends came together to
share a meal, do some caroling . . . and play some pong, too.
Santa stopped by and a great time was had by all.
Sigma Hosts Thanksgiving Feast

As per tradition, the brothers of Sigma
Xi Epsilon hosted their annual Thanksgiving feast on
Wednesday, November 25, in the auditorium. The turnout
was great, and the food was delicious. Thanks to all the
brothers for their help with the event and to all who
supported us.
Sigma Raises Funds for Wyatt
10/01/09
Sigma Xi Epsilon has partnered with
actress Jenny McCarthy this fall in an effort to raise
funds for 4-year-old Wyatt, a child with autism, to
attend the programs he needs in school. Please help us

2010-11 Officers Enter Office
04/27/10
The officers for the 2010-11 school year
were elected at a meeting held Tuesday, April 27. The
officers took office on Wednesday, May 26.

Sigma Named Club of the Year
06/01/09
Sigma Xi Epsilon was named the St.
Joseph’s College 2008-09 club of the year at the
school’s annual recognition brunch on Sunday, May 5.
Congratulations to the brothers on a job well done. May

Spring Formal 2010 a Success

The sixth annual SXE spring formal was
held at the Holiday Inn of Ronkonkoma on Saturday, April 24. A record number of brothers attended and a good time
was had by all.
